I have had many arguments throughout the years related to soil spring stiffness parameters, estimated and 'allowable' settlement. I'm not sure it will ever be solved.
ACI 360R and the PCI Design Handbook are the only sources that cover it with much guidance in North America. It's been a while since I've used EC2 so not sure how it compares. Do you know of any good resources that cover this topic?

No, unfortunately I haven’t dived into that area. The foundation calcs we do for buildings are relatively straightforward.
But thanks for the 2 resources in case I am looking into it in the future!
